Course intended for second-year students of the common core of Technology in the specialties of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Climate Engineering
The student will be able to grasp the nature of a problem (static, kinematic or dynamic) of solid mechanics, he will have the tools allowing him to solve the problem within the framework of classical mechanics. This subject constitutes a prerequisite for the subjects: Strength of Materials and Analytical Mechanics.
Prerequisites
The student must first assimilate the physics subject 1 which deals with the mechanics of the point. Also, the mathematics subject 2 includes essential tools.
