This handout focuses on a presentation of the different modes of production of existing autonomous energy systems so as to have as much information as possible. Energy systems are undergoing rapid change due to the rise of renewable energies.
In adition, this course aims to quickly present the widest possible range of basic knowledge of autonomous energy systems in instrumentation. It is intended for first year master's students in the LMD Sciences and Technology system, option Instrumentation. Its objective is to provide them a working document, their allowing to learn the basic foundations of the electrical energy production devices mainly used. they must also know the different types of energy production plants as well as their characteristics.
The presentation of this course material respects the chronological order in which the material is treated. This manual is divided into several chapters, of which the student can have the basic information about:
➢ Chapter 1 is dedicated to electrical energy production devices.
➢ Chapter 2 consists of the study of wind energy.
➢ Chapter 3 focuses on hybrid systems.
➢ Chapter 4 deals with photovoltaic solar energy.
➢ The last chapter concerns other sources of renewable energy.
It was therefore proposed, in this course handout, to make a contribution to the study of autonomous energy systems. We hope that this will shed new light on the energy transition.
I hope that this work will be profitable and will serve as a reference for anyone interested in the study of sensors and measurements in telecommunications.
